Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actress. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on The AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her other appearances comprise Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn began acting as an infant at Sante Fe New Mexico. After that, her family relocated to Ohio, where she continued her interest in the stage. Theatre studies were through Northwestern University. A semester was spent in the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage parts for a number of years. Then she moved to Hollywood and began acting in movies and television shows. Anna's first big part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. Anna continued to be in film and TV series such as Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was another film she starred in. Gunn also starred in David Schwimmer directed the film Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also starred in a four-part audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days.. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler can be seen in the series.
