Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 and received a lot of praise from music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away - by Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole is already two covers worth noting that the singer has created. Katy Perry's praise for the song Runaway in a blog post gave the artist some additional appreciation. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding a piano hidden in her attic, and becoming fascinated with the sound it made. Parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to take up music not as a career or hobby but as a way to develop. To achieve this, she began writing songs that were her own creations. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite writers. Her mother was supportive of her performing her music publicly, not in order to be famous, but to let others know the importance of their work and the good they do for humanity. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and began writing music at the age of nine. They didn't even be aware until fourteen. Aurora wasn't a childhood dream. Aurora says she loves creating music. To her music, is the best means of communicating anything.
